Does your child love Cupcake Wars or baking? Join us for our Virtual Cupcake Wars competitions where students will get a chance to learn how to make delicious cupcakes from scratch while competing for the title of the next Kidinary Academy Cupcake Wars Winner.

Let the fun begin with our exclusive interactive cooking party that is held live, on a ticket-only basis, purchased through Visitation Catholic School. We can’t wait for your budding chef to join us as we bake up some tasty treats, cupcake wars style.

What is Virtual Cupcake Wars:

Cupcake Wars is a friendly virtual competition where students get the chance to let their creativity run wild, as they work as a team in private break out groups to make the most creative homemade cupcakes they can imagine, using items they have at home.

Bakers are led step by step through how to make a homemade cake batter, frosting, homemade piping bags, and more, using culinary techniques, LIVE with interactive instruction from a Kidinary Academy chef instructor. Best of all, when bakers are in their groups they have access to a chef walking them through how to achieve their team’s brilliant ideas without the other team being able to hear!

This is a party you don’t want to miss! So be sure to join us so your budding baker has a chance to take home the title of the next KA Cupcake Wars Champion!

How Online Cooking Classes Work:

Device Needed: This will be a small-group virtual kid’s cooking class that is held live. Your student can use either a phone, tablet, or laptop, with a working camera to join the class.  This allows for classes to be interactive, to give students feedback, and continue our fun social cooking environment virtually.

How to Join Your Child’s Virtual Cooking Classroom: Once you have completed registration you will receive a registration confirmation. 24 hours before the class you will receive a link to the meeting via email along with the required password.

Below is a list of ingredients and supplies needed for our virtual cooking party. All of our virtual classes use standard cooking equipment, no special equipment needed.

Recipes may require some adult supervision during the cooking portion to ensure student’s safety. Recipes may require the use of a knife so please have a kid-friendly knife available. We use plastic lettuce knives in class, but you can also use a butter knife from home.

Homemade Cupcakes & Homemade Buttercream

• 3 sticks Unsalted Butter
• 3/4 cup Sugar
• 2 cup Flour  or Cup for Cup GF Flour
• 1 Cup Milk  or Dairy-Free Milk
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup Powdered Sugar
• Baking Powder
• Vanilla Extract or Imitation Vanilla
• Salt
• Food Coloring
• 12 Cupcake Liners or Cooking Spray
• Optional: Sprinkles

Supplies: Whisk / Electric Mixer, Measuring Cups, Measuring Spoons, Large bowl, Spatula,12 Cupcake Baking Tin, 2 Medium Bowls, 2 Medium Ziploc bags or Piping Bags, Scissors, Cupcake Liners (optional for easy clean up)
